For instance, we think these are great for working in a warehouse, a finish wood shop, or a hosiery–anywhere you don’t need special hazard protections. While we wouldn’t subject them to an industrial setting, they’re incredibly well-made boots, and they could serve you well for years in an appropriate workplace. They break in easily, and the tongues and collars are padded for comfort. They’re not waterproof, but they stand up very well to extended wear. The uppers are thick, supple leather that looks and feels great. They absorb impact nicely, and add some cushion to the supportive cork footbeds. They’re natural rubber, with good traction on anything from concrete to hardwoods.
